Join MVARC
So you’re thinking about joining the Menifee Valley Amateur Radio Club. Excellent decision — you’re already smarter than the average bear. Whether you’ve been chasing DX since rotary phones were cutting-edge or you just discovered that “ham radio” doesn’t involve a deli, we’d love to have you. We’re a club of operators who take the hobby seriously and ourselves… considerably less so. No gatekeeping. No “well, actually.” Just good people, good signals, and the occasional truly questionable antenna idea.
Why Join MVARC?
- Community. Make friends who’ll happily spend three hours explaining why their feedline choice was correct. (You’ll love them anyway.)
- Learning. Workshops, presentations, and Elmers who’ve forgotten more about RF than most people will ever know — and are weirdly excited to tell you about it.
- Events. Field Day, special ops, club gatherings, and the occasional “wait, we’re doing what with a balloon?” adventure.
- Service. When the cell towers go down and the power’s out, hams are the ones still talking. Be one of them. Capes optional.
